I bought this in October and by December, lost a wheel that has been difficult to keep on. Hoover was completely inadequate to deal with and did not help solve the problem despite a two year warranty.
That said, I like the vacuum. It’s completely dust free and the bags are excellent. I actually enjoy using it and my kid has allergies and this does seem to keep things cleaner than other vacuums I’ve tried, both bagged and bagless.
I seem to have found a clip that fits in this set: Hilitchi 150-Pcs 304 Stainless Steel External Circlip Snap Retaining Clip Ring Assortment Set – Size: 4mm to 28mm
However, I don’t feel I should be fixing a vacuum after two months but if this is all that goes wrong I’ll be pleased. I hope this clip keeps the wheel on …

This thing is built like a tank. It has Excellent suction power. We have been in the cleaning business for over 30 years and this vacuum is the best hard surface floor cleaner we have ever used and we have used many. It is heavy but I knew that when I bought it. In order to be durable, powerful and tough, it is going to be a little heavy. We have tried the Dyson, the Shark and other lightweights which work well for a while. They just don’t hold up in a commercial environment. The onboard tools and suction hose do a great job as well. An extension tube would be helpful to keep from having to bend over when using it on the floor or up high. This Hoover commercial vacuum does the job it was built for.

I am very pleased with this vacuum. I like to research anything that I will spend my money on especially if it is over $50. I looked at all the most popular brands and vacuums to replace my old (+15yr) Eureka vacuum. I knew that I did not want a bagless type of vacuum as I prefer not to deal with emptying dust and such. I also wanted a simple vacuum that would also be sealed so the allergens and dust would not be blown back into my home. So, after much research and consideration, this led me this Hoover Commercial vacuum. I really like the look, long cord, simplicity of build and troubleshoot, and that it is actually lighter than my previous vacuum. It does exactly what was built for. No frills or gimmicks. In addition, it has two seals of approval from the Carpet & Rug Institute which the other vacuums do not have according to my research, so that means it was tested by an outside organization. I am most satisfied with this product so far. It works on both my rugs and hardwood floor. I would highly recommend this product and even though it is commercial, carpet and floors are still the same to me. I also like that it was assembled here in the USA as i try to support my fellow Americans! Hope this helps!

I bought this for home use. All the home vacuums seem more concerned with color and style over substance. The plastics and accessories are flimsy and trouble prone. I’ve got an old Hoover that is built like a tank but I like to have a vacuum on each floor so I don’t have to carry them up and down stairs. My 2nd floor vacuum was much less satisfactory and finally quit altogether. I looked at a lot of different vacuums then found this one. It’s exactly what I needed, who cares if it’s not stylish? No one but me will ever see it. Seems very sturdy, very little assembly needed. I can vacuum the entire 2nd floor without moving the plug thanks to the 40′ cord. All my rooms have hardwood floors and rugs and I’m able to move on and off the rugs without having to change a thing.

Yes it uses bags. Totally worth it though. For the last several years I’ve gone through a parade of expensive bagless units that turn out to be all plastic and break in a year or less (yes I’m looking at you Dyson). This vacuum beats every other one I’ve used hands down. Not only it is actually less expensive than many of those other units, but it’s far better built and has so much more suction. If you give it a try I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Keep in mind this is a commercial device – it’s not lightweight and is a bit louder than other vacuums.

I think if you recognize that this vacuum is intended for commercial use and not home use you’ll understand the features and lack of certain items like pet tools, a light and retractable cord for example. However, carpet is carpet and vacuums are vacuums so it can be used in the home. Since it’s meant to be used daily to keep floors always looking nice it will be more durable than a home vac which is probably used weekly or so. This vac has an excellent filtration system but that requires maintenance such as rinsing and replacing filters on schedule. If you understand these differences going in you’ll probably be happy with your purchase.

I bought this vacuum after my old Windsor Sensor went kaputt, and so far, so good! I use this vacuum for residential use, and it’s awesome! I really like how it can deep-clean carpets, and you notice it! Our carpets have never felt so clean. It’s built to last and feels heavy-duty. I also like how the cord is separate from the machine, so you can easily replace it if need be. The biggest selling point for me is the sealed system with HEPA filtration, w/ an allergen bag! You would NOT believe how many vacuums out there are expelling dirty air: it is NOT normal for the house to smell after vacuuming. Another pro is the intellibelt system: it works! I accidentally vacuumed up a charger cord left on the ground, and the vacuum automatically turned itself off. My only small con is that I wish the wand were telescopic/longer, but it’s OK.
Overall, this vacuum is a great buy. Don’t buy Dyson! Buy this!

Just bought and first use has made my carpet feel like new. I’ve been using Hoover wind tunnel platinum but it’s lost suction and is stinky. It’s been good but it’s 12 years old. Just bought hush tone. It’s not that quiet but for half the money of the platinum it seems solid, durable and suction is amazing. We’ll see in a year. It’s kinda though, so keep that in mind.

This vacuum cleaner did not disappoint. Great suction, even on the low setting. Yes, there is a high and low. The height adjustment is easy to change with very little effort. Very few particles escape during cleaning. I put down pet cleaning powders and didn’t experience any discharge from the vac.

This vaccum is light and not very loud, but it has excellent sucking power. It cleans so much better than anything I have had before. It’s not super pretty (gray and safety orange) but it for sure does its job like a boss! The only thing I am not crazy about is that it does not have a retractable cord so you have to manually roll up the cord each time after using it, but for all the positives, I can deal with the extra 20 seconds it takes to wrap up the cord.

Very happy with this purchase! After roughly a year it’s performed exactly as expected. It’s quality built and very durable. I knew what I wanted when shopping for a vacuum cleaner but I didn’t know if this would live up to my expectations, it has and I trust that it will continue to.

Very impressed with suction. Hard to push on any setting. Not as noisy on one selection probably because suction is less. Long cord. Tools are on vacuum and easy to. Use.
