Ivation All in One Household Steam Cleaner with 17 Accessories, Multi-Purpose Chemical-Free Cleaning and Sanitizing System for Floor, Bed Bugs, Clothes, Ovens, Curtains and Carpet.
I originally ordered this to try cleaning my kitchen oven rather than using those harsh chemical cleaners that produce toxic fumes. I’ve had the steam cleaner for a little over two months now. Here’s my experience.
Using the included attachments, I was able to get the oven to an acceptable state. It’s nothing close to what using the chemical oven cleaners would do, but the results are ok. (I’ve included a pic)
I’ve had great results using it to clean grease from the hood and fan filter above our stove. It does well on outdoor grills too.
Does wonders cleaning grout, however it’s not worth trying to clean a large area. You’ll spend too much time precision spraying and wiping. It does take a while on floors as you have to keep waiting for the unit to heat back up while mopping, again making it way to time consuming.
One thing we really loved using it on was camping gear. For the items we couldn’t just toss in the washing machine, this did a great job at sanitizing and removing musty odors. Works really well on tents, canopies, folding chairs etc.
Some things to note that I would assume might make people frustrated…
Storage: Unless you keep the box it arrived in, or buy a large bag to keep everything together, it’s not packed well. You also don’t get any kind of cord storage (and its a long cord). Best to get some twist ties to keep it organized.
Emptying the unit: This does not have a drain, which means you have to wait several hours for the unit to completely cool, then hold it upside down to let the water run from the filling port.
For us, it’s not an everyday, or really often used appliance so I kept the box. I just store it on a top shelf in my garage until I’m ready to use it again.
Overall, this is a keeper for us, as I do believe there’s potential to try it on other items.
Hope that helps!

The Ivation All-in-one household steam cleaner is our first steam cleaner ever owned. We had a spot on the carpet that is pretty stubborn, so we wanted a steam cleaner to see if it will get it spot-cleaned. We also have a lot of stain on the mattress from the kids’ potty-training accidents–so pretty much, we have a lot that needs to be steam-cleaned. It doesn’t hurt that this steam cleaner also cleans clothes and hard-wood floor. In this time where sanitization is highly encouraged, the heated steam will also sanitize, so with all those reasons, this cleaner seems like a good fit.
I absolutely love the versatile attachment heads for different types of steaming, particularly the small nozzles to clean the crevices like top stove, inside microwave and oven, and shower doors. The steam is strong enough to clean but not too strong where it will damage the leather furniture. I also love how I no longer to spend on cleaner liquids. To be honest, most of the time, I get anxiety from having so many brands and prices to choose from. Now, I’m just confident that the steam is all I need to do the job right.
Although I like the really long cord and tubing, it is still a hassle to lug it around the house, and wish that this is somehow a portable and rechargeable unit. Afterall, the unit is still 10 pounds. I guess in a sense, 10 pounds is still much more lightweight compared to the big commercial steamer.

I absolutely love this unit. It’s small and powerful. I wish it had a window to show how much water it has and the accessories clicked together more securely. Its small enough for me to carry or roll room to room. It gets hot.
Update: had to give it a 1. It just stopped working..disappointed.
Update to update: contacted company. Great customer service all is right now.

Easy to set up, delivers steam in a regulated volume at 225 degrees. Many uses from floors to fabric.

It’s small and light weight but solid as well. Pretty much ready to go out of the box. Just pick your attachment and add water. I bought this to deal with a bedbug issue and am not disappointed. With a full tank of water it will put out steam for just about a hour. And was very affective for the job at hand.

It wish it was tap water , so my beautiful steamer died in two months. Purchase a tap water machine. I’d didn’t know, as I cannot afford to be running looking for distilled water. If you can handle it, I hope it works.

This product has really changed how we try to clean things around the house. I’m really glad we got this product and we feel so much “safer” using steam to clean instead of all the chemicals.
Appearance
Very nice looking machine. We both really like the appearance and it almost looks like art if its just sitting out.
Operation:
The operation is really easy you simply fill, press a button and wait (about 5 -10 minutes) for a green light then you can go clean. The included funnel makes filling a breeze. You add about 1/2 liter per 15 minutes of cleaning – try to get distilled if you can. There are some safety concerns you need to keep in mind when using this all clearly outlined in the manual however just to state the golden rule of steam cleaners… make sure you fully discharge any steam/pressure before opening the refill cap.
Results:
The pictures shown in the review reflect what I took on the first day of use, since then I have used all around exterior of the house to treat mildew mold, moss etc. We had great results cleaning our outdoor patio furniture. We have used inside the home for windows stubborn adhesives on windows and bathroom tile grout. It did wonders on cleaning some built up stains on my truck seats. As I mentioned we are finding new uses everyday and are very pleased with the results.

I have a mixed review when it comes to this steamer from IVATION. First, I must say I was impressed with the overall appearance of the unit. It’s modern, compact, easy to operate, and doesn’t take up much storage space. It’s super easy to move around with wheels that glide easily without tipping. Along with a convenient carry handle, it also has a generous cord length which means less moving from outlet to outlet to reach more areas. IVATION has also included many attachments to make this steamer ideal for tackling different cleaning jobs along with varied surfaces. And speaking of the attachments, just like the tank, they are made of quality materials. All attachments are easy to pop on and off as they just snap into place. The tank is easy to fill with the included measuring cup and funnel. And the steam strength can be adjusted with a simple turn of the dial. I found the unit to heat up fast (relative to how much water you fill the tank with.) It proves to have excellent non-interrupted run time EXCEPT for the following: the floor mopping attachment!! You see, when using the small attachments directly on the hose, I couldn’t be more pleased. The steam was powerful and efficient. It was when attaching the floor cleaning wand, floor cleaning tool and pad, that this steamer failed me. It keeps cycling off to the pause mode (RED LIGHT TURNS ON: HEATING UP) indicating that it is stopping to get the water up to the proper temperature needed to create steam. Eventually the GREEN LIGHT: GOOD TO GO will come back on, only for the same issue to happen again, and again and again. It goes without saying that having to continually stop to wait for the machine to reach steaming temperature is something that ruins my happy floor mopping vibes and momentum. I’m thinking that the problem may have something to do with the steam having to travel the length of the hose and then the length of the floor wand, and no pun intended, just temporarily running out of steam. Whatever the cause, it’s most annoying.
So bottom line is this: I wanted to love this steamer as the idea of an an all purposes steamer that will tackle all my steam cleaning needs in one unit makes perfect sense. Unfortunately, without the ability for it to tackle dirty floors easily, I can not recommend it. And at it’s asking price, one should expect it will live up to it’s claims.
I have included a brief video to give you a better idea of the problem, along with some photos to give you a closer look at this product. I sincerely hope that they, along with my experience, helps you out a bit in deciding what’s best for your needs. Thank you!

Worked very well for what I needed it to do. Handy size, light weight machine.

Packaging:
While it was obvious I got an used product as some items were already put together, others were not in the plastic at all, the extension stick was not even in the Amazon box but was just left on top of the box at my door in its plastic I must say, I still decided to give it a try. One cloth look like it could’ve possibly be used then washed, I still have this item a try. I’m not sure who to blame here – I don’t know if this was an issue from the warehouse or my driver. Was it manufacturing issue, seller, Vine, warehouse, or delivery issue.
Preparation to steam:
It takes 10+ minutes for the water to heat up, I’ve never had it done it in 5 minutes. If you have to unplug the unit and move it to another location, be prepared to wait another 10 minutes before you can start steam cleaning again even with the lower amount of water in the reservoir. This can get frustrating because you have to pause your cleaning in order to continue. I thought it would be like my Shark Steamer in which once I unplug it and plug it back in within seconds in another outlet, it would still determine it’s hot & continue steaming. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. I have decided to buy a 10ft extension cord to use with this steamer to prevent delay in wiping my floors.
I have not tried it on clothing yet as I already have another clothes steamer that I use.
Cleaning:
Once it’s finally heated, it steams very well. It doesn’t get the floors excessively wet unless the base where the water is gets turned over. The first time I used this, the base fell over & I didn’t know & it was spilling water all over my floors through the steaming area which I found a bit odd. It’s also very hard to press the button to release the steam. It hurts my fingers a few minutes into steaming the floors because the steam release button is so hard to press. You won’t see a lot of steam coming out the unit like you do with the Shark steamer. At first, I wonder if it was doing anything then I touch the floor and notice it did steam it and eventually after about 2 minutes of initial steaming, I saw steam coming from the unit.
I like steaming floors more than mopping as it can sanitize better and it allows for your floors to dry quicker.
Overview:
This unit steams floors well. I have tile floors throughout my condo and it did a great job cleaning them. My floors felt cleaner using the steamer then when I just wipe it with mops. I prefer this steamer over my Shark steamer that I don’t use much because it has a larger reservoir so I don’t need to stop frequently to refill and continue steaming. I hate having to wait another 10+ minutes for the water to hear and be ready to steam again when I move to another area less than a minute of unplugging and plugging the unit into another socket. I hate how hard the steam release button is because a few minutes into steaming my floors, my finger is hurting & I want to stop. I have to either rest it for a minute or push through the pain. The button shouldn’t be that hard to press, absolutely ridiculous! It’s simply to use that my teenager can use it to wipe her bedroom & bathroom floors.
I won’t even mention how my steamer came to me as that may not be your experience and honestly, it was still in great working condition that it didn’t take away from my experience with the steamer. Also, nothing was missing so I didn’t let that sway my thoughts on the unit. Overall, it’s a great unit with the button being hard to press and having to wait for the unit to reheat up after replugging it into another socket in less than a minute being it’s biggest con.
Suggested Improvement:
Make the button not so hard to press. The unit should be able to detect it’s still hot up to a minute of being unplugged. Make the cord retractable into the unit for easier storage.

This steamer is around $170 which is expensive but it is such a cool sleek modern design while also doing a high quality steam clean job. The direction book is fabulous and easy to understand. I filled mine with the included funnel and distilled water like it recommends. It heated up quickly and I was off to cleaning super quick. I used the floor tool but it came with at least 5 other attachments to use for deep cleaning. The instruction book lists what all the other attachments can be used for. I loved that I can use a trigger to get steam whenever I want OR I can lock the steam on for a long session of floor cleaning. The instruction book also lists how much water you should add based on how long you it will take you to clean which is so nice because waiting for a steamer to cool just so you can add water would be annoying so I greatly appreciated that. Another thing I loved was the length of the electric cord and the length of the steam hose. This allowed me the ability to cover lots of ground. I only have 2 things I didn’t like. 1. The steam left light water streaking on laminate flooring but didn’t at all on really hardwood. I find that strange when I didn’t use any chemicals and I used the recommended distilled water. 2. The drag along steam box has tiny wheels and did tip over while I was mopping so I wish it was more stable or rolled easier. But that’s it, other than that, this steamer did a high quality cleaning without any harsh chemicals and it looked beautiful doing it. I love and recommend this steamer.

I had recently purchased a stem cleaner but with only one attachment or not an accessory just the steam release end head that came with it. This was great for steaming a couch or even a garment or floor but for anything else I ended up coming up short. I then realized I needed more attachments to be able to attack areas of grim that normally would involve the use of chemicals. I have been trying to reduce the cleaners being used do to my animals and my concern for the older one.
With this super neat steamer from the Ivation brand I have found the right machine for me. The best thing about this other than being compact and user friendly, is it has the attachments I need to clean the grout/tile in my bathroom. I struggle with removing the mildew in between the grout and tile. With this steamer and one of the smaller cylindrical attachments, I was able to shoot the steam right into the cracks or grooves within the tile. I have a few pieces of tile that are broken causing nasty mildew to sneak in there and grow. By utilizing the steam nozzle meant for just that kind of work I was able to attack that grime with ease.
People seem to like this unit like myself however, I did see a mention in the reviews of the cord as well as the hose being long. This is exactly what I needed in relation to that, so for someone to say the cord and hose is too long- I find suspicious and strange. For me the cord being long and the hose as well, is a main reason I ordered this with it being a key standout- so a comment in relation to that is highly subjective and not deserving of a negative star rating.
The attachments are not the main reason I love this. I love the size with it being the perfect unit that while not exactly handheld it come as close to that category as possible. There will be some slight weight imbalances such as when you are pressing a button or manipulating the machine in any way, so it is best to place the thing on the ground fist. Remember with compact machines such as this they still need to be placed on the ground so the weight of the unit works with itself. If you operate it wile carrying it in relation to a main function it may not engage that particular command as easily as if it was secure on a flat surface.
Some of the other neat attachments include a squeegee, scrubbing pad, a pad for gaps or crevasses, two microfiber cloth ends for the receiving attachment and 5 nylon brush pieces- just to name a few.
This is great for steaming a pet bed which I used this for after unboxing. Another great way to use this is to remove cobwebs from the corner of the ceiling. I have smeared the paint or wallpaper many times attempting to remove a hard to reach cobweb so it was nice to be able to simply raise my arm and – poof the web and spiders were handled.
In conclusion, I am very happy with this steamer and am very excited to see how may cleaners I can eliminate so as to be more green or environmentally sound, along with keeping contaminants away form pets, as well as myself for obvious general health purposes.
I recommend this steam cleaner.

I have a handheld steamer, a steam mop and a clothes steamer and the temptation to wrap up all three into one unit was too much to resist. Overall I’m pleased. I live in a small space and not a lot of floor space to mop but this stayed hot for me and continued to build steam while in use. The light does flash to red while it’s reheating, every steamer I’ve used does the same thing, and you can continue to work while it’s reheating. I appreciate that there are a handful of duplicate, small brush attachments. I have off white moldings in my apartment and we have a serious dust issue here (temperate climate, lots of open windows and leaf blowers EVERYWHERE) and keeping the moldings clean has been aggravating. Using one of those small brushes and a wet microfiber towel in my other hand, I steamed the moldings and they look brand new! Take the same brush to tough to mop places like just under the dishwasher, stove etc. Since we rent, we are discouraged from pulling appliances out from the wall.
I’ve steamed a mattress with this and used it to spot clean carpets with a spray cleaner and it worked beautifully. I’ve mopped my kitchen and hallway and I’m very pleased with how it cleaned my floors.
You can lock the trigger in an on position, it’s the giant brown button that I initially didn’t see.
Initially I had this as a 4 star review because I couldn’t get the wand attachment to stay connected. This was on me and not a product malfunction. If you face the same situation, make sure that the button pops up in the slot. It may take a bit of a wiggle to get it in there but it does click in place nicely.
I’m comfortable enough with this steamer to bundle up my other steamers to give to my daughter!

This worked great on our shower grout, large windows and to remove hard water from our shower heads. It did absolutely nothing for all over tile floor cleaning or fabric furniture.
I will keep using it since it makes cleaning our dirty cobblestone shower floor easier but I wouldn’t recommend it if you want to use it all over.
My two biggest issues are
1-the attachments are crap. One kept sliding off and the bristles on another one are destroyed after one use with gentle pressure.
2-the instructions were very limited. I wish they had given more instructions on how to use each attachment and what each one was designed for. I knew the basics from owning steamers in the past but it still would have been nice.
My biggest positive is how sleek and portable this machine is. I can just plug it in and easily carry or wheel it around a large room without having to change outlets.
Again… great on grout BUT it’s nothing other steamers don’t do.
Pen Name –
I didn’t care for it the heat and pressure were mediocre. I switched to another brand and wow what a difference.
NL –
Appearance: It’s a nice medium-sized unit in all white. There’s a leather handle and a long hose to reach whatever you’re trying to steam clean. The big miss with this unit is a storage case or hose management of any kind.
Assembly: Not much to put together, but pull everything out of the manufacturer packaging and put what you need together. Fill it with distilled water and let it start heating. Make sure all the connections are tight along the way.
Thoughts: This is a nice little unit. We’ve been using this quite a bit while we steam the baseboards around the house. It comes with a lot of attachments and I’m quite pleased so far. Like I mentioned, a way to manage the hose and the wand when this isn’t in use should be a minimum inclusion in a set of this cost. Right now, everything just falls into a pile because those wheels work really well.
I like this steam unit and I have had many over the last 20 years. This is the best one by far. With a hose management system, this would be perfect for me. 4/5
Overall: Nice Unit

This is basically the XXL size of a regular hand held steam cleaner with extra attachments. It doesn’t have the high pressure like the handheld one though. The design is pretty modern with large compacity of 1500ml.The cleaner comes with rolling wheels, but I found the wheels useless because it can only go straight and it keeps falling off so many times during use.
It is convenient that it comes with funnel and measuring cup. To fully fill up the tank, it takes three cups of water. The sizes of the brushes and nozzles can fit handheld steam cleaner as well. The aluminum pole and the steam mop doesn’t pop out right away when I try to attach them. I have to keep pushing the buttons and twist a little until it pops out. To operate the machine, there is big silver button on the water tank. I just press it and it turns red, which means it is heating up. It takes about 11 minutes for the light to turn green, which means ready to use. There are different levels of steam levels that I can adjust it by turning the brown button on the tank. I use the lowest level for hardwood floor and tile floor. I have to mop it several time. It creates a lot of water and the cleaning result does not my expectation. Also, I have to grab my mop vacuum to clean up right away.
The power cord is long enough to clean up one room without plug into different outlet multiple times. There are two buttons on the handle to operate the steam cleaner. I can keep pressing the lower button to operate or I can press lower and upper together to have it operate continuously. One thing I do like is that I can use it as a cloth steamer as well.
Steve B from MO –
If I have one complaint it is that I wish the steamer had a window to show the water level. That said the water tank lasts for well over an hour so not being able to see the level is not a big deal. Right out of the box the unit is ready to go. There are many attachments included all of which work great except for one. When it comes to the floor mopping sometimes the steamer performs flawlessly and other times it will kick off and you have to turn it back on. No idea why.
The steamer is very effective, I used it on a carpet that other steamers had failed to clean. I started on just that specific area and the steamer cleaned the carpet so well I had to do the entire room because it was obvious where it had not been used.
The cord is pretty long, something you do not see in most steamers so that is nice. The hose is a good length too, though it could use another foot in my opinion.
Squeal –
I like this steam cleaner. It heats up quickly and the steam is great for cleaning in the bathroom and kitchen. It has a ton of attachments so you can clean just about anything. There are only two negatives I saw with it. One, you can’t see how much water is left in it. If I’m doing extended cleaning with it, I’m always wondering if I’m going to run out. Also, using it as a floor mopper can be a tedious process because it has trouble staying at temp. I just use it now for floor spot cleaning on the really dirty spots and use my other mop for the whole floor.
Overall, I really do like it. However, if you want this mainly for floor cleaning, I would get a dedicated floor steam mop. This is great for cleaning other surface in your house though – showers, bathtubs, sinks, counters, etc.
Sherry MoBerry –
I really like this cleaner. It was easy to put together and the instructions were easy to understand. I put in the full amount of water and it heated it quickly. I liked how well it cleaned the built up dirt on the floors with just water. I was impressed with how quickly I was able to clean the shower door hinge. I used the small round brushes to do this. I took off a star because the black cord that the steams goes through gets quite hot. The handle that you hold on to also gets hot, though not nearly as hot as the black cord. Also, to remove the excess water you will need to pick the whole unit up to pour the water out. Even so, I really liked how portable it was. I was able to quickly go from the kitchen to the bathroom, and it was easy to change out the cleaning nozzles.
Jeff in Texas –
We have had a few steam cleaners in the past, but all were the upright versions. None worked well and were spotty in the performance.
This is by far the best we’ve ever had. Super easy to use – pour in the desired amount of water and turn it on. Set the dial to the desired steam output and give it a couple of minutes to heat up and you are ready to go. The mop attaches easily with Velcro-type anchors; no edge bands to contend with; easy on – easy off. The grout attachment is awesome! The cleanest our grout has been since installed. The steam output is impressive and the base unit can be carried or pulled on the wheels provided.
Pros:
* Ease of use
* Steam output
* Great attachments
Cons:
* None at this point!
Soooo much better than the big names (Hoover, Bissel, etc…)

Good for deep cleaning of many things. Was able to steam clean my mattress. Nice to be able to clean large items you can’t usually clean. Dried fast. The machine heated up quickly, and was easy to use. Many attachments so very versatile in what and how you can clean. Can’t wait to clean the floors with this too. Be careful when emptying water after use. Be sure to let all the pressure out and the water is very hot. (As expected).
Whidbey Mary –
This is an incredible steam cleaner. First of all, it really does heat the water. Some steamers do not heat at all, it’s just a super fine cool mist that is labeled as steam. Not this Ivation Steam Cleaner – it’s the real deal! I have 120 year old hardwood floors which I do NOT use this on, but my laminate wood and tile floors have never looked better. I have found other used for it thanks to the many, many accessory pieces: the table tops in the crafts room, stove top, truck bed, vehicle interior, grill exterior, and patio furniture. Highly recommend this to anyone ever needing to clean anything!

I got this for general cleaning and sanitizing around the house. It includes several attachments for cleaning a variety of surfaces and the tank is ample size to get a significant amount of cleaning done before needing to add more water. I found it most useful cleaning the floors in the kitchen and bathroom and a great tool for sanitizing all the kids toys and stuffed animals. Its light weight, easy to use and overall I would recommend it.
