I love this cordless vacuum! It has great suction, is quiet, lightweight and easy to use. Takes a little getting used to changing out the accessories but it’s worth it! No more cords…I zip through from room to room with ease. The battery is great… I vacuum the upstairs at 1750 sq. Feet and haven’t run out of battery life. I just switch them out when done. I haven’t had any issues with emptying the dirt bun…it is small but so far hasn’t been an issue. I highly recommend!!

I like it but I thought it would be more powerful! I bought after I seen a YouTuber say it came with 2 batteries. I have a another huge brand that came with 1 battery and it’s almost useless as it only allows me to vacuum half a room now. Love that this one has two batteries!!

I know saying you love something doesn’t tell you anything. I have bought a total of three upright and 7 cordless vacuum cleaners looking for one that has a reasonable run time, good suction and can pick up dog hair without collecting hair on the brush roller. Most I returned. For cordless vacs I wanted a replaceable lithium battery plus an extra battery and charger. I wanted it to be simple to operate with controls on the handle, easy to change batteries and easy to empty the collection cup, washable filters, and easy to clean. LG sells two models of cordless vacs called Cordzero. Both have a stand, charger, some accessories, a wand with adjustable lenght, and two batteries. One has a soft roller and a brush roller plus some additional accessories and cost $700 . The other has one brush roller and cost $500 and has some basic accessories. Both can be used as a portable hand vac. I bought the one brush roller LG Vac. If the two roller vac is better, it must be remarkable. I am very happy with the one roller vac and have absolutely no regrets about not spending $200 more for an extra roller. It was delivered February 3, 2020. It is attractive, very light weight, easy to use, has a long run time,. Both models come with an extra battery, charger and stand. I thought the stand a bit peculiar, but now that I have had time to use it, I really like it. I don’t have to be screwing things on the wall to hold the vac, and can store it anywhere I have an electrical receptacle to charge the battery I use the vac every day, sometimes multiple times a day.
My wife is 75 yr. old, 5 ft. tall, and has bad arthritis in her back, all her joints and hands. She tells me it is iight weight and very easy for her to use. It picks up dog hair and does NOT collect hair on the roller brush! I couldn’t believe it, but it really doesn’t collect hair. Controls are on the handle, simple and easy to use. There are 3 power settings. The run time for one battery is about 45 min on low, 30 min. on high, and 12 minutes on super high. It comes with two batteries. I use the basic low setting most of the time. The wand is adjustable and telescopes to the lenght you prefer. We really like that as adjusting how long the wand is really makes a difference in ease of use. Every part is precision made and easy to assemble and disassemble. My vac picks up dog hair really well. Sometimes dog hair gets packed in the cup and hard to shake out. The accessory crevice tool is designed to be inserted into the removable filter located in the middle of the cup. With a simple twist the filter is removed and all the dog hair falls out. I usually just grab the filter with my hand, twist it out and dump out any packed hair and put the filter back in. The motor is very quiet and it’s easy to hear the TV or to talk to someone. It has a very lost pitch and at first I thought there was something wrong with the motor. Nope. It’s just quiet. The vac can be hung on a wall mount (provided) or on a stand that comes with it. The stand has a place to hold and charge the spare battery, hang the accessories, and the vac and charge the battery in the vac. To be honest I don’t think that the vac will pick up a pile of Cheerrios, but then I have never tried to do that. The suction power is not especially strong. I have used it on hardwood floor, vinyl tile, concrete, and short nap, cut pile carpet. It works well on all those surfaces. I didn’t expect it to work on carpet, but it does. My Shark is better at “deep” cleaning carpet, but the LG works just fine to clean up dog hair and surface dirt. I don’t think the LG will work on deep pile carpet or shag rugs or carpet. My house is 1900 sq feet and I can vacuum the whole house on a single battery including occasional use of higher power settings. If I wanted to use the higher setting to vacuum the whole house I am sure it would take both batteries and probably run out before finishing. The low setting works so well I’ve never tried that. I still use my Shark for vacuuming and deep cleaning carpets once a week and the LG for daily use. I have tried vacuuming carpet first with the LG and then with the Shark. The LG got up all the dog hair and some dust. The Shark got up additional dust and carpet lint. For me the LG is more than worth the price. The question I am left with is why aren’t better products like the LG Vac displayed when an Amazon search is made? There are good products on Amazon. Good luck in finding them. This is one product I think is good.

Let me start off by saying yes, this is one of the more expensive cordless stick vacuums but it is still less expensive than most of the Dyson v11 models (newest technology).
Overall, I LOVE my LG vacuum!!!
Pros:
-Extremely lightweight at about 5 lbs
-Suction power is excellent on normal mode
-Sucks up animal hair easily (I have a pitbull and long haired cat)
-Surprisingly very quiet (quieter than my upright Dyson Ball Animal 2) even on turbo!
-Includes a spare filter
-Filters are all washable
-There are multiple ways to configure the charging stand including strong hidden sticky pads so you don’t have to drill into the wall
-You can charge both batteries at one time on the charging stand
-The charging stand holds almost all of its attachments neatly
-There is no trigger button that needs to be depressed for the duration of your vacuum time. Instead, there is an on/off button on the handle
-Handle is very ergonomic
-All attachments easily click to attach or remove
-Adjustable telescopic handle is great for short folks (I’m 5’0”)
-Does not tangle and trap long human hair in either of its beater brushes (I’ve broken many vacuums throughout my life because I had forgot to remove my long hair from beater brushes)
Cons:
-The dust bin is not very large
-If you’re very tall, this vacuum may be too short for comfort (Dyson v11 is a little bit longer)
I originally really wanted a Dyson v11 Outsize, but I could not justify the price. Yes, it is their newest most awesome technology in cordless stick vacuums to date, but it’s still too expensive. I even considered purchasing some of the older models like the Dyson v8 or v10, but I was still struggling with the decision.
After doing some research and watching comparison videos on YouTube, I stumbled across the Vacuum Wars channel. He does a very good, fair and as unbiased video on the LG CordZero A9! At that point, I was completely sold.
If you’re looking for an even cheaper alternative to these high-dollar cordless stick vacuums, I’d recommend the Anker Eufy HomeVac S11 as it’s about half the price of this LG vacuum. The biggest reason I didn’t purchase it is because it has a trigger pull that must be pushed down for the duration of vacuuming and it is a pound or two heavier. I also didn’t like it’s stand that much.

So far this has been working wonderfully. We got this to replace our Dyson V6 which broke after 2 years of use. This LG is twice the price but better in every way than the Dyson, which was really loud and had poor battery life. LG is much quieter, better suction, easier to clean, and has 2 batteries and a convenient stand. We’ll see how it does over time.

We have a dyson cannister vac we’ve been dragging around the house for the last 10 years or so, works great but it’s a big effort to move it around. Looked at various cordless and very happy with this one. Definitely shocked at the price compared to even the dyson, but not dissapointed. Most of the time can get thru the entire house on one battery, and very handy to just grab it when needed for spot clean-ups. Takes a bit more effort on thicker rugs – doesn’t roll forward on rugs as easily as the dyson canister vac, pulling back is light and easy, but not a deal breaker by any means. Build seems solid, hopefully will last as long as the dyson.

I’ve been dickering around w/vacuums for decades…all brands, types and weights. This is best ever. Lite weight and maneuvers like no other. I’ve got multiple furred kids, so the fact it’s rated especially high for pet hair is great. Wooden floors, rugs, works well on any surface. No bags, can wash out the filter and it’s very compact for the suction. TWO batteries, so no worry about no power. I don’t have a big house and only one rug, so this stick vacuum is fine for me…if your house is big or you have many rugs, you might not want this for main vacuum. Ck out CR for ratings…they’ve got it all…

I used other product vacuum before and this one is so much better. It is really easy to use and very powerful vacuum. The maneuver is very easy and can go under the bed which is impossible with other similar vacuums. You can easily remove and clean the filters and is washable. I own three bed room apartment and battery life is good that it lasts to vacuum whole apartment without stopping to recharge the battery.

We vacuum at least weekly. There’s only two of us in the house and we don’t make much of a mess. So it’s mostly dust, etc. We also have a service that cleans twice a month. Time to have a talk with them about their equipment. I vacuumed three rooms. Our office, living room and a bedroom.
The vacuum was full after the office. Emptied it. Was full twice in the living room, and again in the bedroom. It picked up an incredible amount of dust and even hair. Who knew we shed this much? This also lead to my major complaint: The capacity is too small. It holds maybe a couple of cups of debris. It’s difficult to see when the full line is reached because once you start getting dust, the container turns opaque. I overfilled it every time. It’s easy to clean, but a lot messier.
One battery lasted all three rooms, and there was about 1/3rd left. I did use turbo mode when I had the brush attachment on – vacuuming chairs. Turbo mode used up the battery quickly. I’m guessing 300% faster. You could see the bower bars drop.
The vacuum can be configured several ways for a variety of cleaning options. I do miss having a hose – to reach high spots you need to lift the vacuum higher. Even though it’s lightweight, after doing a couple of rooms it feels heavier than a traditional vacuum – because you’re supporting most of the weight with your arm and wrist, whereas a regular vacuum it’s sitting on the floor.
General: Arrives well packed. Includes two batteries. The stand and vacuum take up less space than a traditional vacuum. Use turbo with accessories directly attached to the vacuum. The stand has a space to charge the extra battery, plus the one in the vacuum charges while in the stand, so both charge at the same time. The battery charges in a couple of hours. There’s a cleaning guide that has a suction cup for attaching to the stand, fridge or wherever. Clever and handy.
Noise: You can hold a conversation without yelling while using the vacuum – unless it’s on turbo. Then it’s high-pitched and loud. I only needed turbo when using on chairs to get out some dug in dust.
Filters: There’s a pre-filter (extra included), exhaust filter and metal mesh dust separator. All three can be washed! You’ll probably never need to purchase new filters. I sucked up a lot of dust. Even some spilled flour. Nothing came out the exhaust.
Cleaning: In dry weather the plastic parts build up a strong static cling (same with every vacuum I’ve used) and the outside of the power head needs a wipe down after use. The main canister has a release button to dump much of the debris, , but if anything gets past the max fill line you need to remove the dust separator. This can be spun out by hand, or using the crevice tip as a tool. This is MESSY. Do it over a large trash can and wear cloves. If you own a Dyson (I do) you know how messy cleaning can be if you go past the max fill line. I wash the separator every couple of weeks (or if it looks clogged), but wipe it down whenever it’s removed. Hair tends to stick to it.
Pets: Er, no. If two adult humans “shed” enough hair to partially fill this a couple of times, I can only imagine what a dog or cat would do. We had a Husky and needed a shop-vac to clean up after him.
For convenience, this really can’t be beat. If you vacuum a couple of times a week you obviously won’t have to worry about capacity too much. Vacuum a couple of times a month and you’ll be emptying every 10 minutes.
The final two photos show removing the dust separator and how much stuff can get stuck up there. Even if you don’t go past the max line, stuff still gets up here.
4 stars, mainly because of the limited capacity. But man does this baby clean!

This is perfect. LG brand is starting to become my favorite. I vacuum every night. Easy to use that my 3 yr old uses it and cleans as well. Suction is good, i can vacuum my apartment (1100 sq ft) on turbo every night on one battery. Second battery hasnt been needed yet. But i get the floors and carpets and absolutely love this product. Makes life so much easier and better. Price is decent enough. You get what you pay for and I love it. I would read the instructions before assembling it. Note that if you use the stand you can not disassemble once its connected. Also make sure to slide the attachment on befoe completely assembling the stand so you can store one of the attachments on. I forgot to put slide it on andnow i cannot hang one of the attachments. My fault for being to excited and just assembling without reading instructions. Filters sre essy to clean. It is not heavy at all. Glad i purchased this and been using it for a month so far. Will update if i have any issues.

I absolutely love this vacuum! I vacuum daily and this makes its so easy! And the suction power is great! We have one room with carpet. The rest hardwood floors and area rugs and the suction is comparable to a corded vac without the hassle. I had a cheaper cordless vac which was fine for the hardwood but not as great on the room with the carpet. This vacuum definitely does the job. The batterly life isnl great as well snd you get 2 of them! Would definitely recommend!

We received our LG A9 stick vacuum few days ago. After using it couple of times, I have to say I am truly impressed. Vacuum is lightweight, quiet and has a good amount of suction power. Battery life is also very impressive (40 mins with regular setting / 1 battery). Vacuum comes with 2 lithium batteries, so you don’t have to worry about running out of juice. Additionally, you are provided 3 different heads (hard floors, carpet and power punch nozzle) and 2 washable filters that are super easy to clean.
If you are looking to buy cordless vacuum that truly delivers, don’t hesitate to go with this one. You won’t be disappointed.

Two battery can cover 2,400 sq foot. And suction power is good enough.

Loved this thing. It actually made vacuuming fun and I’m not kidding. It worked amazingly well. So well, all the reviews regarding the size of the dirt canister being too small are accurate. However, one day, the brush stopped spinning – after using the vacuum less than 10 times since purchasing it. The brush spun when I lifted it up off the floor, but when I set it down, the brush wouldn’t spin and the vacuum’s suction power was minimal. I watched you tube videos to trouble shoot a possible blockage, but found nothing. Complete mystery why it stopped working properly. I was super worried because my online searches indicated the LG warranty department would demand it needed to be returned it the original box (which I didn’t save). However, I called Amazon, they hooked me up with the LG customer service department and because I purchased it less than 30 days prior, LG agreed to send a replacement brush section at no charge in approximately 10 days. I am waiting now for the part. I am hopeful. Because for the first month when it was working, I considered it one of the best presents I has splurged on myself. I really did love it and hope to again soon!!

After comparing the LG features against a Dyson, as well as hands-on tie with two different Dysons, we purchased the LG April 04, 2021, excellent vacuum. On October 2nd, I contacted LG Customer Support, as the vacuum stopped working. After a number of emails and two phone calls, I have yet to receive a satisfactory resolution to having the vacuum repaired; in the latest email from LG, they insist an RMA was sent on 10/20/2021, no such email was received. If LG is incapable of providing a return authorization in a timely manner, I am highly skeptical they can repair the machine in a timely manner. I have requested a refund directly from LG. Updates will be posted.
Update 1: After 26 days, LG has FINALLY provided an RMA; I guess it wasn’t sent 10/20/2021.
Update 2: My latest communication with LG
Mr. S******rth,
Once again, I am reaching out to you in reference to Repair # RNN2110050*****.
To provide a “short list”:
My LG CordZero , purchased on 04/04/21 and still under warranty, failed and I contacted LG Service on 10/02/2021
You contacted me on 10/14/2021 because I submitted a complaint that an RMA was still outstanding
An RMA was not received until 10/29/2021
The machine was packaged and shipped, and delivered to HDTech Solutions on 11/03/2021
I emailed you requesting a status update on 11/24/2021, to which I have yet to receive a response
Today is 12/02/2021 and I have no idea of the status of the repair, replacement, or a full refund.
Considering I have been more than patient enough during this time, especially in light of the lack of contact from you, I am respectfully requesting a refund of the original purchase price of the machine.
Thank you,
Update 3:
Lg response as of 12/03/2021
Hello,
After reaching out to the warehouse, the unit’s repair is set to be completed by 12/6
And my response:
Mr. SS******rth,
And when can I expect it’s return.
You do realize this is a textbook example of how poor customer service can be. As far as purchase of any LG product in the future, I will be extremely hesitant.

This is the third cordless vacuum I bought. I had the Eureka cordless and it broke twice in the same way. I only got one replacement from the company. Second I got a Tineco which is pretty ok, but the suction is terrible on carpet. Finally I got this one and it is awesome! Of course it is a higher price point, but it comes with a free standing stand and you can charge both batteries at the same time with it. The suction is good on carpet and hardwoods. The only downside is that it’s a bit heavy, comparable to a dyson. I got this one because the power stays on rather than having to hold the trigger with the Dyson. So far I’m pretty happy with it!
L –
I felt the cordless vacuum should work better for the price paid. I don’t thing the suction of the vacuum is that good for the price paid. If I had to do it all over or if I were able to test it out before buying I would not have bought. It works good but is really not worth the super high price. I only use it on the bathroom tile floor or hardwood floors. I use my regular vacuum for rooms that are carpeted. I gave 3 stars because I feel like it is a good vacuum just not worthy of the super high price tag.
Make it Easy –
My weekly deep clean vacuum will suck the lips off a pig and it is heavy, loud, and bulky. It does a great job but I wanted a cordless vacuum for quick clean ups in between the deep clean. Having used the LG CordZero for a little over a month, here are my observations: Bottom line: I like this vacuum for what it is. The pack-up of attachments, the stand, extra battery, and solid construction is what I was looking for in, what essentially for me is, a quick clean-up vacuum.
– It’s highly maneuverable
– Feels pretty solid for a cordless vac. It is well made. I like how the unit automatically quits charging the batteries when fully charged.
– Vacuum heads are fairly small so it will obviously take you longer to vacuum that a corded vacuum full size vacuum.
– It’s pretty quiet for a vacuum
– 2 batteries are great as well as the charging stand. That’s nicely done. While I very much appreciate the charging stand for when the vacuum is not in use, I don’t store all the attachments there. I find it is easier to have all the attachments in one of those soft tool bags with all the pockets that you can get at Home Depot or Lowes.
– Makes vacuuming the stairs a breeze. Getting underneath the beds, couch and chairs is easy.
– Attachments are nothing special although I do like the power punch nozzle for mattresses, bedspreads, upholstery and even the car seats where the dog hangs out. Helps to break the static cling. LG is to be complimented on how easy everything fits together. Changing attachments is easy and fast.
– Surprisingly picks up a lot of surface dog hair on the carpet but not so much for ground-in dog hair. However, since I use it 6 out of 7 days a week on the carpets, the dog hair is manageable. If you are a pet owner and vacuum only once a week, then this vacuum is probably not going to make you happy.
– The floor head does a nice job of getting dust and dirt off of the tiles. Although to be honest, I can use my microfiber floor duster in a whole lot less time than vacuuming the floor with this vacuum due to the small power head.
– The dust cup is pretty small. I’m fine with having to dump out the canister one or two times per session to ensure better performance. Consider that the price of having a small cordless vacuum.
– I choose to clean the filters after every vacuum (I detest a stinky vacuum) so I bought an extra pre-filter, fine dust filter, and cyclone filter as I want to be able to use the vacuum again at any time and not have to wait 24 hours for the filters to dry. You can get some of these parts through the LG website or even on eBay.
– If you have an apartment you could probably get away with this as your only vacuum. If you have a full size house, you’ll probably need a full size vacuum and use the corded one as a supplemental vacuum.
Michael S. Skurich –
Hands down the best cordless vacuum. Could easily replace a corded upright, especially with the 2 batteries. Build quality is awesome, solid feeling, nice finishes,,something you would expect on a high end appliance or similar to car interior trim. Where as my old Dyson felt loose, flimsy, like a cheap toy, even when new let alone 2 years old, this is solid with exceptional quality. My Dyson V6 Absolute was falling apart, battery died, stick tube snapped, and motor in floor powerhead died. Never buy Dyson unless you want to throw away money every 2 years. Suction is better than my Dyson with 3 speeds. Emptying is easier, cleaning it is easier, and the powerhead attachments are of the highest quality. Seriously if you thought Dysons where nice, they feel like toys next to this, and I should know, im a mechanical engineer. Only thing left to determine is durability and longevity. The easily switchable batteries at least makes that part easy, and the motor does have a 10 year warranty. Cost is comparable to the top of the line Dysons, which this easily compeats and surpases.

This light weight vacuum is amazing. I chose it over Dyson because of the two batteries, a great selling feature. The stand alone plug in system is also a great feature. I am so impressed, my house is 4600 sq feet much of which is tile, but plenty of carpet. OMG I can get the job done with such ease. I hate to vacuum because of cords, tanks and hoses. When my upright died I relied on the Patriot I inherited from mom, great vac, but hoses tanks, cords cause so much extra work. In fact I hated it so much I hired a housekeeper to do the floors! Fast forward, COVID 19 landed me at home….Yikes I have to take care of everything! I can breeze through my house with ease, no scuffs or bumps on the trim and I don’t feel strained physically. It is so quiet that my husband said does it actually do anything, I showed him the dirt collector and he was shocked. We have two dogs, two cats and two birds, it is impressive with animal hair, I pull it out daily and enjoy vacuuming because it is easy, light weight and really gets the job done !

Great product for the price. Please be aware. Read the instructions before putting together. Once assembled cannot be disassembled. Figured out a way to remove the base plate from the post to add the attachment to the post. Had to disassemble the bottom plate and with a small flat head screw driver was able to lift the notch high enough to remove the base from the post. Removed then six screws from the bottom and with a flat head screw driver, unsnapped the corners to remove the bottom which gave me access to the post where the notch was at.
Works great. Quiet compared to the Dyson. Extra battery is a huge plus along with all the accessories it comes with. The suction power works very well even on the low setting.
GalwayMom –
If I could give this vac 6 stars, I would.
For hardwood and tile floors, this gem has the best head I’ve ever used…even better than my $2,000 “big” corded vacuum.
I was skeptical about the vibrating head for upholstery but, it works great for pulling up pet hair from the couch that I used to spend tons of time on!
It also does a nice job on carpet, though if you need to deep clean thick carpets you will still need to pull out the old corded. For our household of 2 adults, dog, cat, and bird, it does very well.
Battery life is also good. I make it through our 2000 sq ft home on one battery unless I’m also using it on upholstery or for dusting. Since this one came with two batteries – no problem.
The charging stand is well designed to hold most of the accessories and isn’t an eyesore like some.
We certainly don’t miss the Dyson stick vac that this one replaced!
