I have been looking for a cleaning robot that can do both vacuum and mopping. I was attracted by its claimed dual function. To compare I put this Noisz unit side by side with a iRobot Roomba i have. You can see this unit is about 1″ smaller in diameter than Roomba. I also noticed that this unit could go under and get out of my Queen size bed without problem. My Roomba had some sticking out points on its surface which made it easier to get stuck under my bed frame. it seems to me that this unit is much more quieter than Roomba, and it could last fairly long time after each charge. I have wood floor on the first floor and low profile carpet on the 2nd floor, it worked well on both.
This unit comes with a remote controller, which allows me to move it around which is useful. Virtual wall works as it is expected. After switching the dust bin to a water container, this unit sprayed some water dots along its way. limited by its water container size, it can not completely replace human mopping yet, but it is a good starting point. Overall, i think this is a good machine considering its cost and performance in comparison to competitors.

First off, I gotta say I have a Roomba 675 which works very well. It has some kinks to it but it does the job well. It gets stuck a lot or tangled in cords or pee pads (I have a lot of animals so they’re just laying around) which of course is going to happen with a vacuum that has as much power as a Roomba. The Noisz S5 is smaller. Quite a bit smaller which is wonderful! It has no issue going under my cabinets whatsoever, compared to my 675 which does.
It also is UNBELIEVABLY silent. God is this thing silent. My Roomba is loud as all hell and sounds like it’s dragging a dead body across the floor when I’m in my basement, but the S5 has little to NO noise at all. It can run while you’re sleeping and you won’t even notice it I promise.
The suction power is quite low compared to my 675, and it doesn’t actually have any brush that pulls dust and stuff off the floor, it has a rubber guard that pushes it off the ground and sucks it in with the small motor it has. It pathfinds really well, just the same as my Roomba and it lasts just as long if not longer. It has only gotten stuck on a pee pad once and it’s because it got left on the ground all bundled up from the 675 going over it previously (They run back to back every weekday).
The only gripe I have with the vacuum is that the brushes are so low to the ground that they kick up my rugs around my kitchen and cause them to stay flipped. That’s it!
Out of 10 I give this a 9 for HALF the price of a Roomba 675. Definitely a great starter for your new smart house!

We’ve had the robot cleaner for about 3 weeks now and have used it almost every day. It is such a life saver! My hubby and I are both working from home full-time, and between doing our jobs and taking turns to look after our 4-year-old boy, neither of us wants to do any cleaning at the end of the day. We have a really old iRobot from about 7 years ago. But it has become unbearably loud and keeps missing some spots. Also, it didn’t come with a mop. So we bought this Noisz. So far it has met all of our expectations. It is very quiet. We just let it run while watching TV or listening to music without feeling disturbed or having to turn up the volume. It is also smarter. It doesn’t bump into the furniture as much as iRobot. It can sense the furniture and turns away without bumping into it (see my video). The battery seems super powerful. Each time it does thorough vacuuming for about 2 hours before going back to the docking station. It comes with a mop in the back, which has done a fair job so far. Lastly, the remote control is quite sensitive. Our 4-year-old has had so much fun playing with the remote control, directing the robot to clean after dinner each night.

I use on my hardwood looking laminate flooring. Dry vac works great and is just as good as the far more expensive robots. The mop is a light finisher which I use right after the dry vac. It does remove the less ‘dirt’ type spots (water marks, doggie drool spots, etc) but it’s not a deep mop; nor is it intended to be. Great solution for a great price! I recommend this product.

We love this vacuum. We named her “Pretty One” after the robot vacuum featured in the K drama “I am not a robot.” We only use her on the hard floors so I don’t know how well she will do on carpet or if she was even designed for that. But she gets up all the cat hair hiding under our sofa and makes the floor look great.

Holy macaroni! I was prepared for let down because the price was too good to be true. This thing works! I’m impressed with how it hugs the baseboard under my kitchen cabinets because it seems like that’s where all the crumbs live. It’s not the most silent device but it’s also not obnoxiously loud. To be honest, I wouldn’t know how it compares to similar devices in terms of noise. I have a 2 year old and I’m not concerned about running it during his nap time. The other notable mention is that I watched it climb over a mountain of toys and the metal base of my coffee table. It has no issue climbing on the 4 rugs on my main floor all of which have different textures. One is jute, another is faux sheepskin and the other two are your typical medium pile rug. As I write this review, it just finished finding its way from under my sofa and managed to push out the coffee scooper I’ve been looking for, for weeks! It’s a smart device. It turns itself around and gets out of most places where it gets stuck. I highly recommend this thing!

I have a pretty small house with all hardwood floors and this vacuum works great so far. I really like how I am able to schedule the cleanings during times I am away. I have pets that shed and the vacuum is able to pick up all of the pet hair and even has a corner component. The noise is relatively quiet, you can tell that the vacuum is running but it wouldn’t be a distraction for someone watching tv or doing other tasks.

This vacuum is suprisingly quiet. It picks up fine dirt and animal hair great. I have a vinyl wood floor. I have two big fluffy dogs and two cats. I am very impressed. It is not made for high carpet. It works just fine on low carpet. Only reason I gave it a 4 star rating is because I believe the filter should be bigger. It doesnt hold enough dirt and hair so I have to change it out often. Overall this product is so worth it.

This is my first robot vacuum and bought it for its no frills price and features. It vacuums for about two hours and then dies. I put it back in the cradle. Once in a while it goes back to its cradle on its own. I had to do some work around the house (we have only tile and laminate) to raise a table by an inch so it wouldn’t get stuck under it. I also relocated some extension cords so it won’t get hung up. I have one under the sofa and it sometimes gets stuck. Otherwise it works very well. The floors are now mostly kept swept. I have about 1500 sq feet house. It will get stuck on one side of the house more often (it starts in the center) but it gets around to everything. The next day it seems to work more on the other side (not sure why). At first, it would not go under the sofa and chair that had flaps at the bottom, but now it will go under there and stay a while before finding its way out.

For the price this is an awesome little vacuum! The only complaint that I really have is it has spots that it consistently misses because of the layout of my home. For example, the area behind my kitchen island between the stove and island. I do really like it as a supplement to my normal cleaning. It does get stuck on the grates in my floor and you have to keep up with it. By keep up with it I mean that you can’t leave legos and shoes scattered throughout the house, but you can scoot them to the side and it will clean around the pile. Also good to know, it’s definitely not the vacuum for you if quiet is important to you. It’s not particularly loud but you definitely know it’s there.

Okay, first of all, try it for several days before you send it back. I am the king of sending back stuff…it’s easy, just take it to kohl’s. Fortunately, I gave it some time. I am now pleased that I’ve kept it. I have a cordless Dyson that picks up just about the same as far as suction is concerned. If you haven’t used one of these before you have to adjust yourself. I only use it on the main floor and I close our main floor master bedroom, so it just covers the living room, hallways, and kitchen and it does very well. You HAVE to learn to put things up that will cause it problems…cords and drapes that hang down too far are my issues. After getting that solved it now gets held up seldom. Surprisingly the wet mop feature does a decent job. I’ve had 24 oz of coffee so deal with how I’m all over the place on this review. Anyway, we have a short haired boxer/beagle and so I definitely see less hair, and it’s nice how this little guy goes under the chairs and couches.
It doesn’t get everywhere although it runs for a long time. It is a little hit or miss, but I will accept that. Also, the bedroom is carpet and I have just decided I’m going to continue to use the dyson on that room, although it does pick up hair in there too, but I don’t want the hassle of another room to have to make sure everything is off the floor.
It doesn’t have a function to “learn” the floor plan, but oh well, it’s cheaper than those models. The remote is just so, so. I have it programmed to run starting at 10pm and we are usually asleep before it starts. It’s very quiet. We heard it last night because we were up watching tv in our bedroom, but it was not annoying in any way.
Lastly, I almost sent this back, but using it for several days was the kicker. Give it a chance.

I bought this robot vacuum as a gift for my sister. After she gave birth to her third child, she
often felt that she didn’t have time to clean the house, especially vacuuming. After learning about her situation, I decided to give an ILife as a gift to her. When she received it, she said it was the best helping gift that she had ever received. The vacuuming does an awesome job on the carpet and the mopping function was above her expectations. She was amazed how much hair of this ILife has picked up. She is also very happy that this vacuum cleaner is very quiet. there is no need to worry about waking up her children while it is working. She loves that the robot can go back to the dock when it needs to charge, then she doesn’t need to worry if it still has the power to run. She calls it Mr. Helper now.

I have Arthritis in my hands. It is extremely difficult to get the cleaning cup out. I e had to have my neighbor come & remove it for me. Even they have issues. When I remove the debris from the cup, I am amazed what my housekeeper didn’t get. This machine is great. Just make sure you have strong hands.
jake –
We love it, we named it Frankie. It’s movements are random for the most part, but leaving it roam around for a while really gets things clean. Speaking of that the filter is really easy to take out and clean. Worth the price it’s at.

I can’t afford one of those $700 robots that memorizes the room, so I looked into something affordable to help me keep the dog hair under control. Not only does thing do a great job, I have noticed that my house is way less dusty! Used to, I could dust and by the next day it looked like I haven’t dusted in a week. But now everything stays dust free for several days. This vacuum just kind of randomly bounces around the room, but eventually it gets every spot. I just let it roam in each room for 30 minutes or so, and move it on to the next room. One review said theirs just does a bunch of circles and turns off. That is a feature the vacuum has to clean up a spill or just a small area that needs a power vacuum. I have been using this for about 3 weeks now, and I will need to replace the filter because it is starting to smell like dog (understandably). It came with three filters, so that is a bonus!
Oh, and this thing makes it way around my cluttered furniture perfectly! It goes underneath and between my dining room chairs like a champ. It goes around the legs on my end tables. We are in the process of replacing our floor, so there are a few spots that are very unlevel (missing pieces of tile in places). It’s like a little four-wheeler navigating around! I just love this little vacuum, and I hope it lasts me a long time! Definitely one of my better purchases on Amazon!

Wife had purchased this unit for its virtual door/stop. I admit very handy and that works. The unit does not have any rollers or cleaner brushes other than the rotating brush so like a hand vac on wheels. Here are the good and bad-
Pros
Unit is quiet.
Size is good. Not as low a profile as some others but pretty thin.
Remote control to start/stop, turn, spot cleaning and return to home.
Can program to a schedule.
Battery life seems ok to good.
Good on wood and tile floors.
Cons
Small dust bin.
Not really made for carpets as no under cleaning brushes.
Erratic cleaning- Cannot get machine to provide “row” cleaning. Tends to wander around. Won’t do long straight lines.
No emergency signal when unit gets struck.
Never finds it way back to docking station before it runs out of battery.
To be fair, our house is choppy and lots of obstacles so finding its way home could be a difficult but the older unit from a well known manufacturer had no issues docking at end of cleaning cycle.. BUT there was a price difference. Bottom line for hard and tile floors it is good for the price.

This is great!! I use it once a day. I have a German shepherd that sheds a ton and this gets a lot of the hair!! I wish the dust bin was bigger, but it’s also not a big deal just emptying it and running it more. Best to empty the bin after every use of not more! Highly recommend this!

I’ve had several robot vacuums over the years and the one I liked the most was a direct suction (no rotating brush) – and they don’t make it anymore – – so when I needed to replace my last one I looked for another manufacturer that offered the direct suction vs. the rotating brush. This one does have that. And I do like it for that. But. It is really a pain to empty the little bin. Instead of it just lifting out easily and then flipping open the dustbin piece and cleaning it/dumping out etc., you have to remove a right angled filter from the little dustbin which is awkward and fiddly to remove …and the little paper straw (seriously it is like it made of the cheapest flimsiest paper) OTHER filter gets filled with dust and can’t be rinsed off, or cleaned really other than by patting it against the inside of the trash can, is seriously going to be a high replacement piece. Then putting the right angled filter back into the plastic slots inside the bin has to be done JUST perfectly and it’s also awkward…takes me way longer to empty it and with much more effort (and dust on and around me) than the others. I empty it after every use. It is quite a bit noisier than my others – and the little electric wall indicator thing it comes with seems to be completely useless (and yes, I have it facing the right direction). It gets stuck on lots of things so I can’t leave it alone (and my floors don’t have a lot of areas where a robot vacuum would typically get stuck). I would not buy this one again.

Mom was so excited about it. I got it to help her sweep up pet hair and dust. She sweeps and mops daily but it is a lot, especially at 65yrs. old.
I climbs the rugs and gets into corners and under so many things.
And yes, it’s pretty quiet and bigger than I thought.
I thought it was a good buy especially for the price.
I’m happy with it so far and so is mom.
Update: mom is using and has named her Hazel. So says it picks up so much dog hair even though she sweeps before she uses it lol. Says it slows down when it is full and that she was shocked at how much it picks up. Says the dogs are unbothered by “Hazel” also after 2-3 exposures. Still trying to figure out remote and timer setting, but still seems like a great helper for my elderly mom.
Update: Mom says it is very easy to empty and clean filter. Loves the timer. We set it for 6am every morning before everyone gets up. Very quiet.
It slows down when it’s full and slowly goes home, so she empties it nightly.
So happy with mt purchase.

This is my second iLife robot vacuum. The other one lasted about a hear and a half with very heavy use before the battery started to give out. So far, this one is even better. It’s much quieter and the battery lasts about 2 hours. I could tell at first it seemed to have a hard time finding home, and getting stuck in certain places, but after less than a week, it is awesome. I use the barrier to keep it out of my closet. Somehow it got past it once, but that is the only time. For the price I am very happy with this vacuum and after having the other for a long time, I highly recommend. I have all hard surfaces other than a few area rugs and have heavy pet hair.

Ok this is my first robot vacuum and overall its really like it. The vacuum aspect is great I have a dog it gets all the hair up so 5 out of 5 for that. I have a few transitions on the floor and it get over those fine. In terms of the mop function its very streaky I don’t recommend using it. I also didn’t like how there is no warning when the vacuum bin is full. It sometimes gets lost going back home I have to tell it to go home when its in that room it does not make it was back well if its coming from another room. Overall the vacuum function seems great so I would say 4 out of 5 I think its a solid buy I did get it on sale also.

I love this & wondered why I hadn’t purchased one sooner! Great model to get started with. Very simple to operate. I don’t even use the remote control. It took 4 days for him to learn all the rooms. The first day he only wanted to stay in the living room. I had to physically pick him up on day 2 & 3 to place in other rooms. Once I did that, it recognized them all next time on his own. I have all hardwoods on my upper level with some floor rugs, runners & a large shag rug. Wall-E even handles my shag rug pretty well. He only gets stuck in a couple places where the rug is under a chair & doesn’t quite provide enough clearance. The beeps let me know when he needs help.
I find the vacuum is not too loud, but just loud enough that I can tell which room he is working in. Happy that this machine automatically comes with an electronic boundary eye. Very useful to block off the lower level steps.
Love that this machine has brushes. They stick out like whiskers and do a great job along baseboards.
Overall, I am very pleased with this machine and it’s a great price point for an entry level robot.

I bought ILIFE’s A6 model about 3 years ago, and at the time it was considered their flagship model. It was great at first, but after its 12 month warranty expired, problems started surfacing (funny how that always seems to be the case), and eventually it crapped out. I was hesitant to buy another ILIFE but after reading up on this Noisz model and with a generous coupon Amazon had at the time, I decided to give them another shot. Glad I did, because this thing is a night and day difference to the A6. Here’s what I like about it:
– Remote controlled, and the remote is easy to use and super functional
– The charging base is so much better than the A6’s, with a circular design that kind of cups the vacuum so it’s easier for it to align itself and stay put
– The lights on Noisz are larger, brighter, and overall much easier to see than the A6
– It actually can climb over thick rugs and carpet, unlike the A6 which could consider it an obstacle and just turn around
The jury is still out on the centered dustbin design – I do like how it’s hidden under the top panel, that’s pretty slick, but so far it seems harder to empty and clean than the A6’s wider bin.
All in all, for what I paid for this Noisz (post-coupon), it is hands down the best value on the market and a far superior device than the A6. It looks like ILIFE learned a lot from their first product line and put those lessons learned into much better designed products. Good job ILIFE, you’ve earned me back as a customer.

Couldn’t be happier with this purchase. We have two German Shepard’s and the fur is more than any housewife should have to to deal with haha. I just turn this baby on in the living room while I read, the kitchen while I do dishes and my bedroom while I fold laundry. She really does a great daily pick up. Of course once a week or so I still need to get behind low sitting furniture or the trim boards etc, but I highly recommend this purchase!

Alright I’ve only used this guy once and I love him. He’s named Agador Spartacus. And as you can see from the picture he does a damn good job. That was after only an hour of aimless roaming. He only got truly stuck once and that was my fault because I set up the electronic wall incorrectly. He did a good job of levering himself up on to and over things. He’s a liiiiittle dumb and tends to stick to the same areas but is easy to move. Got up lots of my hair and cat hair/litter/food that she had kicked around this morning.
I like that there’s a remote, I’m just trying to figure out how to direct him where I want him to go because he skipped under the couch and around it. But so far I’m a big fan and Penelope is only marginally unhappy.
