Just unpacked used the product today for the first time. It was packed pretty well, everything had it’s own snug little compartment to keep it all secured in the box. The power brush is smaller than I was expecting. When I got it all together I was skeptical that I got my money’s worth, it seemed more like a toy. But as I started using it it’s definitely not a toy!
I had to empty it 3x just from vacuuming the stairs (17 steps). My large 22×26 room I emptied 5x. I’m impressed with it’s handling of dog fur (Husky) as well as how much small dirt/dust particles it picked up. Sucker’s got some power! As advertised, it is pretty quiet. Quietest vacuum I’ve ever used. I was worried about the collection bin being too small with having a long hair dog, but with that power comes compression inside the bin so it’s able to pack quite a lot into that small space.
Almost $300 bucks is no small amount, especially for a vacuum. I was very leery & hesitant to pull the trigger on this one, it being a brand I’ve never heard of before. Tineco can thank Consumer Reports for earning my business, as it was recommended by them over Dyson due to Dyson’s decline in quality & reliability apparently. I’m only giving it 4 stars because it doesn’t feel the most sturdy in my hands, not like a typical upright. This is my first stick so I’m probably just not used to the lighter design & style. It does feel well built, just not solid. Then again they are all removable attachments & parts so that’s probably par for the course for a stick vac.
For now I feel it was a good buy. I say “for now” because I haven’t even had it a whole day yet. I will follow-up as I put some more laps on it & get a better idea of it’s overall quality & versatility.
**** Update ****
Holy crap does this thing pick up a LOT more dirt than any of my previous vacuums! My previous vacuum (Dirt Devil upright) could do the whole house & at most I’d have to empty it once. No joke, I have filled a 13gal tall kitchen can/bag!! Mind you most of it was dog fur, but still WAY more than the upright ever picked up. The bottom of the bag was all gritty sandy dirt, about 6″ deep worth! I’ve NEVER had a vacuum pick up so much, let alone how effortlessly it does so. I live in a 3K square ft house, alone with just my dog. I bought it brand new 4yrs ago, no kids have ever been over, I never wear shoes in the house. I have absolutely no idea where all that dirt came from, let alone that my previous vacuum left that much behind! I’m absolutely amazed by this things performance! Will update on quality after more use, I’ve only had it since yesterday.
**** Update ****
Still very happy with this vacuum. Played with a friend’s Dyson & I can say my first impression about it feeling toy-ish & un-sturdy is related to the style (cordless stick) & not a reflection of the Tineco A11 vacuum so I am adding the fifth star I withheld because of my first impression.
Also.. some reviews are complaining the bend at the base of the power head preventing it from going flat to vacuum under furniture & this is not true. All you have to do is turn the vacuum a quarter turn so the power head is on an angle & it drops completely flat. (Photo & video attached.)
**** Update ****
So I feel the need to counter the reviews here that complain about loss of suction after only a few uses. CHECK THE FILTER!! As I mentioned about how much this thing picked up that my Dirt Devil left behind, & how much of that was fine gritty dirt, well.. it caked the cleanable filter REALLY quickly! The tool they include to clean the main filter is included for a reason. I’ve had to clean the filter about a dozen times in 4 months. With a freshly cleaned filter I just ran over a penny & the vacuum sucked it right up, & that was in normal mode NOT on max.
The filter is stupid-simple to clean. It literally just slides in & out from the middle of the collection bin. I’ve started the habit of pulling & knocking it on the side of the garbage can whenever I empty the bin. It literally only takes 2-3 seconds to do.. I only use the cleaning tool about every 10 days to get the extra fine dirt off if it. (And yes, they do include a 2nd filter to swap into the vacuum before using the cleaning tool, you’re not running the cleaning tool filterless.). The engineers really did go the extra mile to make this very user-friendly, an excellent performer, & easy to keep in optimal condition to maintain that performance.
4 months in & I still highly recommend this vacuum!
**** August 22, 2020 ****
Still going strong! I now knock off the fine dust particles from the filter every time I empty the collection bin. I literally vacuum 1x-2x daily so I’ve used this thing at minimum 200x & suction power has not declined.

Love this vacuum. I wanted to get a cordless vacuum that was lightweight but powerful. I have a very bad back and anything I can buy to make things easier helps. I researched Sharks, Dysons, and others. During my research I came upon this brand Tineco that I had never heard of before. I went to stores to see these stick vacuums for myself. I was not impressed with the obvious poor quality. Even the Dysons felt cheaply made. The online reviews were all over the place and many reviews said the Dysons had changed and the quality has gone down. The reviews for the Tineco were impressive. I took a chance and ordered the A11 Master. As I unpacked it I was impressed. Carefully packed, double boxed by the maker, then each individual piece was also packed and boxed. The pieces felt strong, solid, not cheap. I set up the charging station and put the parts on the designated holders. I have been using this for three days now. Run time is very good and have yet to need to switch batteries. Suction is very good and when you hit the MAX button the suction os awesome, like a large shop vac. On regular power the noise level is really low, and on Max its still not as loud as a regular vacuum. I have a parrot who makes a huge mess every day. The food and seed hulls go all over the floor. My hoover has to make several passes to pick the mess up. This Tineco A11 makes one pass over the mess and all seeds and hulls are gone! The A11 Master has so many attachments too. The small power head even cleans my cats hair off the furniture, even the stuff I cant see because the dust compartment collects way more than I even see. I have only had this vac a short time but I love it already. Besides its easy to ise and doesnt make my back hurt! “””UPDATE””” Two years in and the Batteries have gone bad. They only hold a charge for about 5 minutes of vacuum time, not the 30 minutes when new. Two new batteries cost half the price of a whole new vacuum. Battery technology still has a long way to go!

I’ve had the A11 Master Emerald for 2 weeks. Literally zero complaints. It’s very worth the $$. I moved into a new apt with 1300 sqft of hardwood floors and some tile and was previously using a Dyson V7 animal. When I ordered this it was a little gamble because there were zero reviews at the time, but I’m thoroughly impressed.
The A11 comes with 2 batteries but fully charged I’ve yet to run out of 1 battery on the entire place using the soft roller attachment. The LED light is really a nice feature … something not even the $600 Dyson has … and it makes me want to do a quick sweep of an area more often because the lights are bright and at an angle to show you dirt across the floor. I liked that the soft roller is included in the A11 while Dyson charges $90 for it.
The brush head for carpet works performs equally as well as the one for hardwood floors. Really it’s just appreciated that the A11 comes with all the attachments you could need and you don’t have to pay extra – thoughtful ones like the bendable crevice tool for the car or the multi-angle tube that makes the other attachments more efficient to use.
Using this to dust, especially doing shelves quickly or around electronics and cords, keeps everything looking cleaner. The attachments with max power mode work really well for this.
On both regular and max modes, the A11 is without question quieter than the Dyson V7 I was using or my sister’s Dyson V8. I apparently didn’t notice how loud the V7 was until I got the Tineco for comparison.
Build quality of the A11 is good. It feels sturdy but not heavy to where it’s tiring to use. I don’t anticipate needing customer service but my hat is off to them. They emailed me right away thanking me for my purchase and asked for any/all feedback.
I read some other reviews as they cropped up. A couple comments about the “small” dustbin … I guess if you’re vacuuming up an entire box of cereal or you have a shaggy St Bernard and haven’t swept in a week this might be a problem. I empty the dustbin after a couple passes through my floors and it has a ball of dust and hair flying around but there’s no loss of suction.
This is a really quality product even before taking the price point into account and what the alternatives are. If somehow you find reason enough to return this I’m sure the customer service will help you out. Overall the A11 is highly recommended. I’m a 30 yr old guy not ashamed that I like keeping my place clean(er) with this

Welcome to the cordless vacuum wars! There are scores of choices from 50.00 to 900.00. I tried the leader (Dyson V10), but returned the V10 due to no removable battery, inferior ergonomics (weight distribution makes it tiresome in extended use) and it is a time consuming pain to fully clean.
My goal is to find a cordless stick vacuum for a reasonable price, that cleans the entire house without stopping. I have hardwood floors and low to semi-medium pile carpets.
Enter Tineco’s second generation A11 Master with 2 removable 2500 mah batteries and a full array of attachments. The A11 added a larger dust bin, greater battery capacity and more power in max mode.
I timed the battery in normal mode with the power carpet attachment. It lasted for 28 minutes and 33 seconds. This was after 1 battery recharge cycle. Battery time should slightly improve after numerous recharges.
I was able to vacuum my entire house with the included 2 batteries.
The non-power attachments are sufficient for any household job. They are injected molded, fit well and there is no air leakage.
What is most important to me for the power attachments are the electrical contact points. Contacts need to be built solidly to last without breaking down. the A11 has hefty and long contacts. Additionally, the power attachments and all connecting joints have injected molded guide ridges, thereby, eliminating strain or breakage during connection. This attention to detail is consistent throughout the A11 design.
The A11 in normal mode is 25w and in max mode 120w.
The power carpet attachment has both soft and hard bristles to better agitate for deep carpet cleaning. To check out the carpet attachment I spread instant coffee, sugar, ground up cereal and pretzel crumbs. I first used my Electrolux cordless. I then used the A11 in normal mode. The A11 picked up significant debris that the Electrolux missed. I then put the A11 in max mode vacuuming the same area. Nothing appreciable was left to pick up. The A11 in normal mode was sufficient.
To check out the power floor attachment I used the same mixture plus Cheerios, raisins and other assorted cereals. The floor attachment, in normal mode, was excellent picking up everything in one full sweep. I also spread Cheerios alongside the kitchen cabinet baseboards to check out edge to edge vacuuming. The A11 was excellent at edge to edge pickup. Max mode was needed to vacuum almonds and large whole pistachios with the power attachment, however, without the power attachment the A11 vacuumed the same in normal mode.
Ergonomics/weight distribution is GREAT as there was no hand or wrist fatigue after 1 hour of use. the A11 weighs around 3 lbs. without attachments. There is a constant on switch and both the carpet and floor power attachments have useful LED lights to illuminate any dark areas. All attachments are easily connected or disengaged with 1 hand.
For a full house cleaning I had to empty the dustbin midway. The bin emptied quickly and easily. Between full cleanings you can take out the inner filter assembly from the dust bin and brush it off ( with included tool ) and reinsert. The whole process takes 15 seconds. Its really simple and quick and keeps the A11 at full power. A full cleaning is simple and NOT time consuming.
The A11 has a floor caddy that houses and charges both batteries simultaneously. Most of the attachments are not stored in the caddy. The caddy holds the vacuum, both batteries, tube with connected power attachment and 2 non power attachments. My only quibble is the A11 doesn’t stand on its own.
Tineco has paid careful attention to detail and produced a superior good looking cordless stick vacuum at a reasonable price. I am keeping the A11. Highest Recommendation.

This machine is amazing. As a Dyson owner of several years, I can say the performance is equal or better. If that is your only criteria, you will save $$ and be equally happy with the Tineco. However, if you find value in the user experience of the tool, you will be much happier with the Tineco A11 versus any other vac on the market. Many attachments, two pre-filters, a pre-filter cleaning tool, a brush to clean the tools which includes a hook with a protected blade to cut hair off the brush rollers(!!!), detachable battery, an extra battery, a forearm-saving always-on switch for the trigger…I could go on. Okay, I will, on one more thing: many of the attachment articulate in unique and useful ways. The soft roller power head flattens out so well, I can actually vacuum under the radiators in my home. For years I have searched for just the right tool to clean the radiators without a huge mess. Finally, here it is.
The only minor con I have found so far is I will need to make some kind of caddy to hold and organize all the attachments, as they will not all fit on the slots and catches offered on the charging cradle.
All of the above assumes the Tineco proves as durable as my other vacs. I maintain my tools meticulously and handle them carefully, so I expect them to last. Although my day one experience has been amazing, it’s the cumulative 1000 day experience that ultimately matters most. I will update this review if the Tineco fails to meet long-term expectations.
I’m off to find some more things to vacuum…later!

Based on the other reviewers’ critiques, I anticipated a life-changing event. What a letdown. A cordless vac is nice, it is helpful on stairs, getting in cramped spots, and vacuuming on top of windows, art, etc; however, I still dislike the entire vacuuming process. Heck, dislike is too mild a word. Hate.
Since I can only compare the Tineco A11 to a traditional hose/cord unit, I will limit my review’s comments to the comparison between those two models: Obviously, the Tineco lacks the dread power cord, a plus. Instead, you must charge the lithium battery units 3 – 4 hours to get enough juice to run on max for 15 minutes. And you cannot leave the batteries plugged in, charging away indefinitely. Downer. Both types of units have lots of attachments that clean hardwood, carpet, upholstery, etc. Even. They both have bagless dirt receptacles. Even. Tineco has a max power button; my corded unit is max all the time. Even. I’m really trying to froth with excitement about the cordless vacuum experience, but in all honesty, I can’t. If you must vacuum (and, yes, we have to unless sweeping, dusting, and mopping is your thrill), save yourself $400 and keep your old unit until it dies. Then borrow someone’s cordless before deciding.
UPDATE: The manufacturer contacted me regarding this review and informed me that the lithium battery packs can be left plugged in the charger. I also acquired a third battery pack. Three batteries power my vacuum on max for 22 minutes, which is enough time to clean about half my 1600- sq ft house and the stairs (all hardwood, no carpet). Also on the upside, the dust receptacle is very easy to empty and the lights on the vacuuming head make it super easy to spot cat hair and dust bunnies.

OK. So I’m a terrible internet shopper because I almost *never* leave reviews for *anything*. However, I am so compelled by how utterly fantastic this vacuum is that I have no choice but to write one. Strap yourself in.
The attention to detail that the engineers at Tineco have is unprecedented. Their keen eye for functionality deserves heaps of awards and a standing ovation. The main goal in my review is to shed light on some of these small, unobtrusive features that make this vacuum a gosh darn (replace with exuberant profanity) marvel. The marketing team at Tineco needs to stop being so humble and start stomping their lame competition.
Here’s the list of the most praise-worthy features of the A11 hero+
1) Lights for seeing dust on the floor. The lights on the front of the roller brush show you exactly where that chip you dropped ended up. You’ll never ask yourself “wait did I get that corner?” again.
2) Integrated filter cleaning device. This is my personal favorite. You know how on most vacuums you need to occasionally wash the spongy micro filter? You know how much of a PITA that is? Then it has to dry off before using the vacuum again. Awful. You’ll never have this issue with the Tineco. It has a separate attachment that is designed to clean off the micro filter. It takes <30 seconds and then you’re back in business! Genius.
3) Multiple batteries. The thing comes with 2 batteries so that when one runs out of juice, you just re-load and carry on. All other vacuum manufacturers take note: this should be standard practice!
4) An easy to disassemble rotating brush. Worst thing about vacuums? Maintenance. We’ve all spent far too much time sitting on the floor unraveling hair wrapped endlessly around the roller brush that won’t turn anymore. It sucks. Once again, Tineco engineers come to the rescue here. The roller brush disassembles (no tools required) so that you can easily cut the hair directly off the brush. Once again, a minute or two and you’re back in business!
5) Air circulated to cool the battery circuit. Ok, so this one is a bit esoteric but bear with me — it shows that the people who made this vacuum really care about their work. The air coming out the HEPA filter is actually recirculated down the handle directly into the battery pack to cool the battery and related circuitry. **who even has the time to come up with this?!**
6) Squeeze release latches for EVERYTHING. No tools required. You can: change attachments, change batteries, remove the micro filter, remove the HEPA filter, empty the canister all with squeeze latches. Thank you Tineco for not making me break out the tool box just to do NORMAL MAINTENANCE!
7) It’s very quiet. I haven’t looked at other reviews but if anyone says this thing is loud, they clearly live on the moon where there are no people, no cars, not even the occasional squirrel. OK, maybe it isn’t whisper quiet but even our cats don’t seem to mind and they mind literally EVERYTHING.
Do yourself a favor, step your game up, quit swooning over Dyson, and buy this vacuum.

I was a bit confused with the Amazon reviews because there were inconsistent descriptions of the product: one description implied that there were two batteries, and an extensive accessory pack with the A11 Hero. In fact, there was only one battery and fewer accessories that was described in some descriptions. This confusion, does not, however, detract from the performance of this amazing vacuum. Here are my observations.
PROS
o Very quiet motor. My cats aren’t sent in a panic sprint when I turn on the vacuum.
o Excellent suction, even on the lowest setting.
o Accessories are very good. The filter cleaning attachment is genius!
o The multi-filtration system is excellent – all of the filtered dust is effectively captured in the hardware.
o The large floor attachment with brush works extremely well on my hardwood floor. Further, the design is excellent as the roller can be removed from the housing for cleaning. The attachment has LED lights which are perfectly positioned to spot dust on the floor. Excellent.
o The smaller attachment, also with a powered roller, is super efficient in removing cat hairs from duvet covers and furniture – best that I have found!
o The cleaning tool, with blade to cut hair wrapped around the roller is very useful.
o The weight and balance of the vacuum is very good. It isn’t tiring to hold for periods of time.
CONS:
o The battery does not last very long on the high setting. This wouldn’t be an issue if there were two batteries.
o Minor issue: there are some small crevices in the design which are difficult to access to clean. You’ll need to purchase a small brush to clean.
In summary I would definitely recommend this vacuum. It isn’t inexpensive, yet it’s performance is comparable to Dyson which is much more expensive. Also, in my opinion, the Tineco ergonomics are better than the Dyson: better balance and lighter. To be sure, the Dyson may have a bit more performance, at a much higher price point. I wish there were two batteries, but I don’t consider this an serious issue. My overall impression is that this is a well thought out, superbly designed and effective vacuum. Excellent value for it’s price tag.
3/16/2021 Update. The on button trigger lock broke today. I called Tineco support and they said a replacement (main motor housing) would be sent to me because the vacumn was under warranty. Support said they would be sending me an email requestinh an image of the broken component and the serial number. I received the email in a few minutes, and replied with the image attached and the serial number. An hour later, Tineco support emailed me to let me know that the replacement part was being prepared to ship to me. Amazing customer service! Great service, great product, great company.

I posted the picture to show the herd i am fighting against in this house. Along with 3 kids I have more high traffic areas than not. I picked up an A11 at walmart for $100 just to use in between using my big corded vac and decided to give a bigger style a chance after realizing how convenient not having to lug and plug was. 5 stars is based on my experience with a smaller version of stick vac. No it doesn’t do as good as my corded vac but i feel like that is to be expected. However it does do a great job. It has a small canister for holding dirt and i have to empty it after a room or two but as annoying as that might be im impressed with the fact it is picking that much up. I live in ohio so salt is drug in on shoes and this has no issue picking it up. There are 3 settings and even the lowest picks up salt and takes it to the canister. I have no issue with it falling back out once i turn it off. Im not big on reviews but tonight as i was cleaning up for the night I saw a Lego on the floor and figured i would have to pick it up but nope this thing on medium power sucked it up (1 down 4million to go)
The battery power so far seems good. I have 3 large rooms and 4 medium rooms down stairs and make it through them all plus the stairs on one battery.
If you have a super fancy plug vac dont buy this and be surprised when it isn’t as good. That’s like comparing a gas powered leaf blower to battery powered they don’t sit in the same category so don’t compare them.

My wife absolutely loves this vacuum, super easy to clean and comes with an attachment for just about everything! Suction power is by far the best out of any vacuum we’ve ever used! We have two decent sized rooms with fairly thick carpet and the rest of the house is vinyl laminate, and one battery will do the entire house even using the MAX button on the carpets. We have a German shepherd which stays in the house the majority of the time and sheds profusely( along with my wife’s hair lol) and we have to dump the vacuum at least 3 times I pulls up so much hair and dirt. The LED light on the vacuum show EVERYTHING that’s on the floor which is very helpful for cleaning. If I could give this 7 stars I would! Will post a review in about 5-6 more months on battery life and suction of vacuum.
